Two-Day Moderate Shore Tour
This Two-days’ Moderate shore tour of St. Petersburg includes Peterhof Fountain Parks, the Hermitage, the Church of Our Savior on the Spilled Blood, St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Kazan Cathedral, the Faberge Museum. It is designed to familiarize you with the history of Russia and beautiful sights of St. Petersburg in a peaceful, calm way. You will not miss anything: instead, you will get the ”creme-de-la-crème”. Smell the blossom of linden trees near the gilded fountains of Peterhof, enjoy the old masters in the stately rooms of the Winter Palace. You will also have a stroll down the Nevsky Prospect, the city's central avenue, be thrilled by the craftsmanship of Faberge eggs at the Faberge museum. Led by a local historian, the tour gives a general overview of St. Petersburg and its history combined with a special focus on St. Petersburg must-visit attractions. It is ideal for first-time visitors.

This was a wonderful 2 Day Tour and our Guide and Driver was AWESOME! We were on a 9 Day Baltic Cruise and instead of booking a tour of St. Petersburg through the Cruise Line we did a little research and booked through Tailored Tours of St. Petersburg and we are so happy that we did! We were picked up both days at our Cruise Port and Returned at the end of the day. We saw everything and it was A++! The great thing about Tailored Tours is that you work with them directly to do what ever it is that you want to. They are great about suggesting places to go ahead of time and then you can email back and forth to set your itinerary. Everything is planned about before you arrive, any changes that you may want to make are no problem. This is definitely the way to see St. Petersburg, and would highly recommend booking through them. We traveled in June of 2018. My wife and I and two teenagers had a wonderful time, extremely well informed local guides and drivers, safe, worth the price, and a great time!
If you are visiting St. Petersburg, the best way to do it is with a private guide. Sergey is wonderful to work with and helped us plan a 2 day private tour for 6 people. Absolutely worth the money as it includes the visa fees, transportation, and early admission to many sites. Maria our guide was wonderful and knew all the Russian history details.
