Three-Day St. Petersburg and Moscow Shore Tour

Our Three-days’ St. Petersburg and Moscow excursion will begin at the cruise port terminal. During a transfer to Peterhof Fountains our guide will lay out the basic timeline of the city's history and some of the main themes to think about. Once in Peterhof, we'll begin our walk in the fountain park and see the Samson golden statue. From here, we will head to the Catherine Palace and visit the world-famous Amber Room.
For the Moscow tour your guide will meet you at the railway station in Moscow and take you to the center by metro. You will see the oldest part of Moscow – the Kremlin, a citadel, where Tzars used to have their residences and where the office of the President of the Russian Federation is located. In the Armoury museum within the Kremlin, you will have a chance to see genuine belongings of Russian rulers and to learn more about surprising court habits and customs. After lunch in the historical shopping center of GUM we continue to the Red Square with its St. Basil’s Cathedral and Lenin's tomb. After lunch, you will be invited to a car city tour. Take a chance to see the panoramic view of Moscow from the Sparrow Hills, Novodevichy Convent, Christ the Savior Cathedral, Tverskaya Street, get an idea of the general layout of the city. The guide will get you back to the railway station and will help to board the train.
On the third day of our comprehensive tour you will visit the Hermitage Museum – a vast collection of European art masterpieces. We will weave through the galleries with our guide, pausing to study and discuss famous works by Rembrandt and Leonardo Da Vinci, as well as lesser-known treasures. The Benois Madonna will provide the climax to our visit, and we will take time to appreciate the artist’s mastery, and learn about the painting’s pathway to its current home
We'll leave you with an understanding of Russian rich history and its two capitals.
