One-day Moscow Shore Tour is designed for cruise travelers to visit the Kremlin and other Moscow attractions visa-free. After the tour, you will safely return to your cruise ship in St. Petersburg. This tour is perfect for cruise passengers staying at St. Petersburg port for 3 days.
The One-day Moscow tour itself starts at the Moscow railway station in St. Petersburg but our service includes a cruise port pickup and a transfer with the company’s representative to the meeting point. Our representative will guide you to the train station where you will take the Sapsan train to Moscow (the ride lasts for about 3 hours).
Our guide will meet you at the railway station in Moscow and take you to the city center by metro. In Moscow city center you will visit the Kremlin - a fortress, where Tzars used to have their residences and where the office of the President of the Russian Federation is located. In the Armoury Museum within the Kremlin, you will have a chance to see genuine belongings of Russian dukes and tzars, learn more about surprising court habits and customs.
After lunch in the historical shopping center “GUM” we’ll continue our tour. Led by a local historian, a walk in the Red Square gives a general overview of St. Basil’s Cathedral and the Lenin tomb (a gleaming granite mausoleum and the monument to the revered founder of the Soviet Union).
As soon as the Red Square tour is over we’ll take a ride in a minivan to see the panoramic views of Moscow from the Sparrow Hills, Novodevichy Convent, Christ the Savior Cathedral, Tverskaya Street. Each attraction is visited with photo stops.
Equipped with a better understanding of Moscow city center we'll reach the end of the tour. Our guide will take you back to the railway station and help you board the Sapsan train.
In St. Petersburg upon your arrival our representative will meet you at the train station and drive you back to St. Petersburg cruise port.
